About Us
Cheshire Dyslexia Services is ran by Clare Wild. Clare is an experienced teacher and specialist in dyslexia, with extensive experience supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs. I work closely with parents and schools to provide thorough, child-centred dyslexia assessments, offering clear explanations, practical recommendations and guidance. I have significant experience working with children who may also present with ADHD or autism type difficulties, taking a thoughtful and holistic approach so that every child feels understood and supported. My assessments are flexible and can take place at the family home or in school, allowing me to work around each child’s individual needs and help them feel at ease. Alongside my assessment work, I am involved in training and professional development, including supporting trainee dyslexia assessors and contributing to high standards in dyslexia specialist practice.
Our Mission
Cheshire Dyslexia Services is a place of inclusivity and support that extends far beyond its name. Our aim is to help each individual see their strengths, regardless of academic difficulties that they may face. We're able to fully assess for signs and symptoms of dyslexia and we will provide a comprehensive and personalised report providing supportive strategies that will not only support home life, but strategies that can also be used by teachers and school support staff when working with your child.
Dyslexia Assessments
Our assessments for dyslexia are available for anyone aged 8 and above. We provide a detailed investigation of an individual's strengths and difficulties, within all things literacy based. We can provide a legal diagnosis.

Tutoring
Here at Cheshire Dyslexia Services we tutor children with a range of strengths and difficulties - some with dyslexia and some without. Our tutoring sessions are all 1:1 and are individualised to meet the requirements of the child. Our tutors come to the family home and primarily work across Tattenhall, Tarporley, Kelsall and it's surrounding areas.
